My Story 

My name is Jaz Morton, and I’m writing books for kids learning in my beautiful city, New Orleans, LA, and other areas. This book is for kids who learn differently, parents who teach their children new ways to learn and explore, and teachers who find creative ways to educate their students. I had to work ten times harder than most kids when I was younger. I was constantly in and out of the hospital, and it affected my learning style. It was not until I got older that I realized it was because I learn differently from other people. I wanted to learn things in ways that were relatable to me and helped me feel connected. With this book, I hope to make a difference in children by creating new heights while enhancing a better foundation and making them feel like they are not alone. Reassuring them that they can achieve whatever they want, and to remember to dream big.  I know some people are wondering why Louisiana is pointed a different way, I wanted to give you a taste of what it’s like to learn differently.  Now, get a taste of New Orleans, and let’s encourage kids that it’s okay to learn differently!
